Lake Festival

The three day 'Lake Festival' kicked off with a great line-up of talented acts - throughout the afternoon and evening the audience enjoyed live music on the main stage, including headline act, RainBand, straight from touring with Simple Minds. In the afternoon, as well as the live music, there was also activities for all the family including, craft stalls, tarot card reading, angel card reading, crystal readings, psychometry, palmistry, comedy, a funfair, food stalls, bars, cooking demonstrations, Thai dancers, circus workshop and even an internet workshop presentation.
With two more days (Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday) to run there is still plenty of time to enjoy a superb holiday bash.
Tonight's headline band on stage is the Salford Jets.

Misleading calling it the Lake Festival when in fact it was Soccer Village Festival. There may have been considerable talent but do the organisers realise they are in Rochdale not wealthy Cheshire?
