Good causes in with a chance of winning £6,000 grant

A handful of groups aiming to make a difference in their community are in the running to bag a £6,000 grant.
Several organisations from across the borough are vying to win a cash boost as part of the Natwest Community Force competition.
Rochdale Children’s Moorland Home is one of the groups through to the final stage of the competition in which locals can cast their vote online.
The three groups with the most votes in each geographical area will each be given a £6,000 prize.
Other worthy causes vying for your votes in the borough include: Rochdale Cricket Club Junior Section, Spotlight (on Falinge) Ltd, Rochdale Company of Archers, Friends of Springfield Park, St Peter’s Community Project, Youth Link @ Old Hucky’s, The Friends of Hopwood Park and Rochdale AFC Ladies and Girls.
Darnhill Festival Association, Hollin Estate Management Board, Leonard Cheshire Disability, Honresfeld, Middleton lads and girls football club, Middleton Popstars Academy, Pride Media Association and Langley theatre workshop are also in with a chance of winning.
